Public Hearing Notices for Residential Tax Abatement - Joel & Dawn Luitjens & LaCanne Funeral Homes, LLC

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT  

A Public Hearing will be held by the Cottonwood County Commissioners on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at 9:30 A.M.  in the County Commissioners’ Room at the Cottonwood County Courthouse at 900 Third Avenue, Windom, Minnesota, to consider granting a residential property tax abatement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §469.1813

Request submitted by Joel and Dawn Luitjens.  Abatement period – 5 years commencing on first year of taxes payable for assessed value related to new home.  Based on 2018 tax rates, estimated total abatement could be approximately $7,515. 

Property Address:  1139 Bingham Lake Drive, Bingham Lake, MN  56118 

Legal Description of Property:   Lot 5 in Block 1 of Smith South Shore Addition in the
