Public Works Director/County Engineer
Status: Full-Time
Job Description:
This position, under administrative direction, manages and directs the activities of the Public Works Department, including the functions of engineering, parks, equipment maintenance, construction, maintenance of highways, and solid waste. This position works in conjunction with various personnel to develop annual and long range plans as well as operating and capital budgets. This position will serve as the principal communicator for the Cottonwood County Public Works Department. This position is the Engineer of Record for Cottonwood County.
Salary Range: $90,958
Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum five years of experience, including two years of supervisory experience in civil engineering or an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Professional engineering registration as a civil engineer in the State of Minnesota is required. Possession of a valid State of Minnesota driver's license is required. Seasonal Parks Worker
Status: Seasonal
Job Description:
Hours for these positions will vary between 30 and 40 hours per week and will include working evenings, weekends, and holidays. These positions will start in May and end in August/September (dates are flexible).
Salary Range: 11.25 per hour
Required Qualifications:
A High School diploma and valid driver's license is required for all positions. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
